Fairleigh Dickinson's Kinu Rochford has been selected as the StatSheet NEC Player of the Week for the week ending December 31st. StatSheet's NEC Freshman of the Week goes to E.J. Reed from Long Island. Also, Bryant's Joe O`Shea takes home StatSheet's NEC 6th Man of the Week.

Rochford led the NEC in scoring (30.0 pts per game) and rebounding (16.0 per game). He also had great stats in assists (4 per game) and shooting (90%). The Fairleigh Dickinson senior played well for the Knights in a loss to Virginia Commonwealth.

This is the first time this season that Kinu Rochford has been selected StatSheet NEC Player of the Week. However, he has received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is Alex Francis, a junior from Bryant. Honorable mention goes to Kenneth Ortiz, a junior from Wagner. The highest ranking player from St. Francis (NY) was Jalen Cannon who finished 11th.

StatSheet NEC Freshman of the Week: Long Island's E.J. Reed

E.J. Reed played 23 minutes as a starter for Long Island. In an 81-80 loss to Lamar, Reed rang up 7 rebounds and 66% shooting.

This is the second StatSheet NEC Freshman of the Week honor for E.J. Reed. The runner-up is Shivaughn Wiggins from Mount St. Mary's. Taylor Danaher from Mount St. Mary's receives honorable mention.

StatSheet NEC 6th Man of the Week: Bryant's Joe O`Shea

Sophomore Joe O`Shea, a 6-4 reserve guard, saw 33 minutes of action during a single game for the Bulldogs. In a close 80-79 win against Lehigh, O`Shea added 15 points on 33% shooting.

This is the first time this season that Joe O`Shea has won the StatSheet NEC 6th Man of the Week. Latif Rivers, a junior guard from Wagner, is runner up. Our own Travis Nichols earns honorable mention. St. Francis (NY) has one StatSheet NEC Player of the Week win this season.
